 Chief Bill Skare and Retired Chief Deputy Randy Mitchell have supported Fehr for Sheriff for many years and this time around Mitchell has volunteered his time as the Campaign Manager, and Bill Skare the Campaign Treasurer. Mayor John Slight Endorses Ron Fehr for Sheriff I am writing this letter in support of Ron Fehr for Sheriff. As Mayor of the City of Boone I have worked with Sheriff Fehr on many different issues and have found him to be very helpful. Sheriff Fehr has shown strong leadership on the war on drugs in our county and continues to lead the way in fighting crime and keeping the residence of Boone County safe. Years ago we were on opposite sides of a campaign but let me make something very clear both sides had the same vision and that is to provide the best law enforcement possible for the residence of Boone County. I truly believe that Ron Fehr has done that and will continue to do so. Please join me in supporting Ron Fehr for Sheriff and keep law enforcement moving in the right direction.
